Smart Upgrade for Traditional Manufacturing
Capture what the veterans know, connect the machines you already own, and let the reports write themselves.
This happens every single day
Know-how walks out the door
Veterans retire and take the know-how with them; new hires need three years to get up to speed.
Old machines, no network
CNC machines, presses and injection molders all 10+ years old — no network, no PLC.
Reports still done by hand
Daily, weekly and monthly reports all keyed into Excel by hand — and nobody catches the bad numbers.
Quality rides on spot checks
Defects surface at the customer. Sampling covers less than 10% of output.
The modules we recommend for you

ERP
Orders, inventory and production in one place — replacing the Excel files scattered everywhere.
MES
Work-order management and shop-floor reporting, with veteran SOPs captured digitally.

Connected equipment, live utilization, downtime alerts before it stops.

Getting old machines online
A 20-year-old CNC with no PLC and no network — how do you connect it?
- Add an IoT gateway to read the current signal
- Infer utilization within ±5%
- No need to replace the machine
Digitizing veteran SOPs
The veterans work from experience — when something goes wrong, nobody else can pick it up.
- SOPs broken down to the individual action
- Paired with video walkthroughs
- New hires productive in 2 weeks
From spot checks to 100% inspection
Sampling misses too much, and defects come back as customer returns.
- Every workpiece scanned in at each station
- Critical dimensions captured automatically
- Defect rate down 60%
FAQ
My equipment is really old — can it actually be connected?
If it draws current or runs on air pressure, a bolt-on sensor can usually read it. We confirm what is actually feasible with an on-site assessment — and say so plainly if a machine cannot be connected.
What if our operators do not use computers?
They scan a QR code on a rugged tablet and tap three buttons to report. We have 70-year-old operators using it comfortably.
How long does implementation take?
A single plant goes fully live in 3 months, with real utilization numbers in month one.
Can we roll it out in phases?
Yes. Most customers start with MES shop-floor reporting, then add ERP and EMS about six months later.
