MES — Manufacturing Execution System
The execution layer between the shop floor and the front office — transparent work-order progress, live capacity, end-to-end quality traceability.
The problems this solves
No visibility into work orders
Supervisors have to walk the floor to find out what stage a job is at and how much is done. Problems surface far too late.
Capacity is guesswork
Machine utilisation is estimated from experience, and nobody can pinpoint the bottleneck station.
Broken traceability chain
When a complaint comes back, nobody can say which lot, which machine or which operator produced it.
Paper-based reporting
Operators fill in timesheets at the end of the shift, data lands in the system the next day, and analysis is always a step behind.
Core features
Every feature targets a real problem on the floor.
Work-Order Dispatching
Auto-dispatch by capacity, skill and equipment. Floor supervisors reschedule straight from their phone.
Real-Time Shop-Floor Reporting
Scan to start and finish a job — labour hours, output and defects are logged automatically.
Machine Uptime Monitoring
Connects to PLC / IIoT to show running, idle and fault states live.
Quality Traceability
Every material, machine, operator and lot number on record — trace a complaint to its source in 30 seconds.
Capacity Analytics
Live OEE, utilisation and defect-rate dashboards. No more waiting for the monthly report.
Exception Management
Exceptions push straight to the supervisor’s phone and open an 8D report for follow-up.
What you get
Works with every other module
Data flows through once — no more re-keying.
ERP / Inventory
Work orders flow in from ERP sales orders; completions write back stock and cost automatically.
EMS / Energy
Cost the energy consumed by each work order and roll it into carbon-footprint management.
Labelling System
Product labels print on completion with lot number, production date and QR code.
E-Signature Workflow
Route exception handling and deviation waivers through an approval flow.

What hardware do we need on the floor?
Each station needs a tablet or industrial PC with a scanner; machine monitoring needs a PLC I/O point or an IIoT gateway. It can be rolled out in phases.
Can it run alongside our old MES?
Yes. We provide dual-write and data sync so you can migrate line by line.
Does it suit a small factory?
Yes. There is an edition for shops under 10 people covering basic dispatching, reporting and output statistics.
Which equipment can it connect to?
Siemens, Mitsubishi and Omron PLCs, plus OPC-UA, Modbus and MQTT protocols.
